I expect and hope to gain a better understanding of the many different issues that southern EU countries are facing in terms of migrants that are coming over to southern EU countries and hopefully ways we can better deal with these issues.

I also expect to network and make new friends.

My expectations were met. I am very pleased with the selection of participants.

Enjoyed a healthy dispute regarding stereotyping migrants.

Good topic to open the training.

It was a bit difficult to concentrate and long presentation requiring interpreter.

Claudia’s presentation was posponed due to the time limits.

I expect to see first-hand the positive contribution that migrants have had on a city that was abandoned by people and hopefully to meet some of these people and also local residents and to see what their opinion is.

I expect that major will have some time to talk to us as it would be good to understand his values and inspiration sources of the ideas he implement.

It was great to meet locals, to observe migrant communities engaged in crafts and arts.

Very positive to hear locals being supportive to mayor is ideas.

We had a good discussion in a hotel with Claudia.

The day overall went well.

It is pretty that we didn’t have a chance to ask questions (after mayor is talk).

Enjoyed having a chance to see old deserted village turning to a beautiful place with multi-cultural community.

It would be enlightening to see the history of migration to southern Europe it would also be very interesting to see if migration is an old issue in southern Europe and not just a recent issue.

It would also be interesting to see the perception of people before and their attitudes towards migrants and to cross reference that against our time.

Was good to compare recent migration data (Spain, Italy, Greece, UK).

The members dropped in Spain. It is also in Italy. We are aware about the situation in the UK.

TROPEA visit was very relaxing and pleasant. Beautiful place to know!

Claudia’s workshop led to discussion again which was very useful. We all agreed that attitudes forwards migrants migrants are negative. Always has been.

Discussion on a train, when we can have attitudes in each of our native countries.

Would be good to hear what is available to the migrants in terms of support who has mental issues.

I hope to gain a better understanding on how religions and cultures are accommodated in Europe and to see how they could be better accommodated and to see where we are succeeding and failing with respect to this topic.

I would like to understand the prevention of radicalisation ways.

I am looking forward to discussion with imam.

Great and very informative Tolani’s presentation.

Was good to build awareness and organisations working with refugees & migrants.

I understand the issues different nations might face and mental wealth figures.

He was useful to listen to the imam description and how Muslims feel in Italy, however there were many points in discussion that with any full respects to Christianity I may not be able to agree with.

Visited a house where young asylum seekers are hosted. Pleasant experience and very positive thoughts about the people donating the places like this.
