From 25/10 to 3/11, Kairos Europe will take part in the Erasmus Plus Youth Workers mobility project: TAKE INITIATIVE FOR REFUGEES, which will take place in Izmit-Kocaeli, Turkey.
The project deals with topics such as : war; economic difficulties; social pressures; reasons and difficulties to leave their country; social adaptation; the implementation of legal actions on issues such as education and the difficulty in finding a job, and so on.
The project will seek to find solutions to such problems especially as regards to youth workers, in order to make employers work to increase knowledge and skills of unemployed people.
The aim of our project is to provide youth workers with the right information in order to improve their skills and obtain, through the project, effective and efficient qualifications.
Taking part in the project are 33 youth workers from 11 different countries. The project will run from 1st March to 31stDecember 2016, with the training activity planned from 25th October to 3rd November.
These will include groups activities to ensure the active participation of all people attending. There will be a variety of energizer games, team building games, workshops and outdoor activities, and intercultural learning activities.
A photo exhibition will be held during the project activities, in relation to the theme of social awareness, and at the end of the project a video will be published.
The evaluation of projects and proposals will be prepared and shared with the target audience. At the end of the project our young workers will have achieve knowledge, skills and become expert in a lot of fields.
This long-term project will have a positive impact on citizens, both the refugees and the country to which they come from, and it will play an active role in current issues in everyday societies.
